Rich media Road Block Ads
Over a week ago I was “fortunate” to have witnessed the roadblock Ads Apple had bought out on the New York Times online. Like Will Richmond I also think these ads are a great example of rich media advertising that works well with the conventions of online Ad placement and are sympathetic to user experience of adjacent content.
I also like the playfulness of moving between the leaderboard and right hand side panel to “posterboard” the ad.
